Meet The Team

David started his career with the firm where he gained both his AAT and ACCA qualifications. He has an extensive knowledge in all areas of accountancy and tax which enables him to assist clients in more specialised areas of selling and buying business, setting up group structures and complex VAT issues. David has built strong relationships with his clients and with this comes a high level of trust. This means he is often the first point of call for them to discuss their business ideas. David is also a statutory auditor and is authorised to provide probate services by CILEx.

Nikki returned to Attenboroughs in 2015 as a director of the firm holding both AAT and ACCA qualifications. She works with clients in a wide range of sectors including aviation, healthcare, the motor trade, cosmetics and construction. She has successfully completed Research and Development claims for a number of clients, and has an in depth knowledge of the interaction of taxes. Nikki is also involved in both company and charity audits, as well as the preparation of accounts for small and medium-sized entities.  Nikki works closely with her clients and is highly regarded by them all. Nikki is also authorised to provide probate services by CILEx.

Sarah joined the firm in 2017 having previously worked with Nikki for over 10 years. She is AAT qualified and is currently on the final levels of the ICAEW qualifications. Sarah has excellent knowledge in all areas including accounts, tax and vat and manages a portfolio of clients varying in size and industry.

Kim trained with HMRC and during this time dealt with Paye and Self Assessment (previously Schedule D). This gave her the perfect skill set to take over the running of our payroll department in 1998. Since then, Kim has become a member of the Chartered Institute of Payroll Professionals, and her department has grown significantly. Kim not only deals with payroll but also workplace pensions, CIS and a number of self assessment tax returns.

Joseph came to us for work experience and then continued to come back and work for us in the holidays whilst still studying. Once he gained his A levels he then joined us full time, he is currently studying for his ACCA qualification. He is responsible for preparing clients vat returns and accounts and is also involved in helping to prepare clients payroll’s.

Jo is an extreamly experienced bookkeeeper who works with a select portfolio of clients that have a good understanding of accounts and benefit from her detailed approach to management accounting. Jo is will liked by our clients as she is also very well organised and very reliable.

Andre joined the firm in 2023 having previously worked in a Hertfordshire based firm. He is now AAT qualified and continues to gain an excellent knowledge in accounts preparation, vat and bookkeeping. Andre is now studying for his ACCA.

Felicity joined the firm after training with a local firm for 5 years and gining her AAT qualification. She spends her time in the office preparing accounts and VAT returns for small businesses. Felicity is now studying for her ACCA qualifications.

Victoria is an integral part of our outsourced finance department team. She assist in all aspects of record keeping for our medium-sized and larger clients where she is in constant demand to keep systems up to date using remote accesse.

Kirsty carries out  the company secretarial work for our clients and our accounts administration which includes filing documents with both Companies House and HMRC. Kirsty is always ready to lend a helpful hand in whatever task needs doing.

Megan joined us as an Admin and Accounts assistant and is currently studying for her AAT qualifications. She is responsible for bookkeeping for clients, preparation of vat returns and general administrative duties.

Abby joined Attenboroughs in 2025 and is part of our outsourced finance department team. Abby is highly organised and ulitises her skills to ensure that all agreed tasks are completed on time. Abby also supports our accounts and audit team to ensure that the work flows smoothly throughout our office.

Carol, Natalie, Gill and Elaine are our support staff. Carol and Natalie run our reception desk and are familiar voices to all our clients who phone or visit. Elaine looks after our credit control department and although she is a delight to talk to, luckily not too many of our clients get the opportunity!

Olga joined us as an Admin and Accounts assistant and has progressed through the experience gained and by her univeristy studying. She is responsible for bookkeeping for a portfolio of clients, preparation of vat returns and assisting David in our personal tax department with self-assessment and P11d forms.

Maria joined us in 2025 to join our bookkeeping and VAT team. She also supports Olga with tax and admin tasks and supports Kim with a small portfolio of payrolls. Maria is friendly and keen to help our clients and other team members.

Nic is a qualified will writer and runs the wills and probate side of our business along with David and Nikki. She works alongside our clients to prepare their wills and lasting power of attorneys.
