David started his career with the firm where he gained both his AAT and ACCA qualifications. He has an extensive knowledge in all areas of accountancy and tax which enables him to assist clients in more specialised areas of selling and buying business, setting up group structures and complex VAT issues. David has built strong relationships with his clients and with this comes a high level of trust. This means he is often the first point of call for them to discuss their business ideas.

Our team is very close-knit and ensures that a unified support is provided to you whenever you need it. With expertise covering all aspects of accountancy, taxation and business advisory services, we are well placed to take a holistic view to planning for the future as well as dealing with specific matters.
Nikki returned to Attenboroughs in 2015 as a director of the firm holding both AAT and ACCA qualifications. She works with clients in a wide range of sectors including aviation, healthcare, the motor trade, cosmetics and construction. She has successfully completed Research and Development claims for a number of clients, and has an in depth knowledge of the interaction of taxes. Nikki is also involved in both company and charity audits, as well as the preparation of accounts for small and medium-sized entities. Nikki works closely with her clients and is highly regarded by them all.
Sarah Everist MAAT
Sarah joined the firm in 2017 having previously worked with Nikki for over 10 years. She is AAT qualified and is currently on the final levels of the ICAEW qualifications. Sarah has excellent knowledge in all areas including accounts, tax and vat and manages a portfolio of clients varying in size and industry.
Glenis Banks MAAT
Glenis joined the firm in 2018 having previously worked with Nikki and Sarah for over 10 years. She is AAT qualified. Glenis has excellent knowledge in all areas including accounts, vat and carries out bookkeeping for our clients that vary in size and industry.
In 1975 Steve joined the firm and immediately began to gain experience in accounting for sole traders, partnerships and limited companies. Steve also assist clients with bookkeeping and VAT, and wherever possible gives solid advice on good record keeping practices.
Kim trained with HMRC and during this time dealt with Paye and Self Assessment (previously Schedule D). This gave her the perfect skill set to take over the running of our payroll department in 1998. Since then, Kim has become a member of the Chartered Institute of Payroll Professionals, and her department has grown significantly. Kim not only deals with payroll but also workplace pensions, CIS and a number of self assessment tax returns.
Louise Macaulay ACA
After a short career break, Louise took on a part time audit and accountancy position with us in 2004. Over the years her role has expanded into trust tax, charity accounting and auditing, and self assessment tax returns.
In 2011 we welcomed Dave to the firm. After more than 20 years working at Chantrey Vellacott and a stint at Clark Whitehill, Dave has a gained an exceptional knowledge of personal tax and is our go to person for income from property, capital gains tax and high net worth.
Chelsie Aylott MAAT
Chelsie has recently gained her AAT qualification. She is responsible for bookkeeping, preparation of vat returns, preparation of accounts and company secretarial work. Chelsie is also supporting a lot of our clients with the transition over to cloud based accounting software in preparation for the new MTD rules coming into force next year.
Asha joined us in 2017 and comes with a firm background in tax. She is responsible for a large portfolio of our personal tax clients, mainly preparing personal tax returns and sole trader accounts. She is also on hand for personal tax advice including capital gains tax.
Jo started with us as a temporary receptionist but we soon realised her talent, she is now responsible for company secretarial work for our clients and also is now helping with bookkeeping, vat returns and accounts preparation.
Kirsty assists Kim with our payroll and work place pensions. She has recently started to take over the company secretarial work from Chelsie and Jo. Kirsty is always ready to lend a helpful hand in whatever task needs doing.
Joan, Natalie and Elaine
Joan, Natalie and Elaine are our support staff. Joan and Natalie run our reception desk and are familiar voices to all our clients who phone or visit. Elaine looks after our credit control department and although she is a delight to talk to, luckily not too many of our clients get the opportunity!
